Operator of boat livery to provide properly equipped boats

This section is amended
Effective January 1, 2020
Relating to operators of boat liveries; creating new provisions; and amending ORS 830.410, 830.600, 830.770 and 830.990.

No operator of a boat livery shall permit any boat the operator rents to depart from the livery premises unless the boat is equipped as provided under ORS 830.005 (Definitions for chapter), 830.015 (Application of ORS 830.005, 830.015 to 830.050, 830.175, 830.210 to 830.420 and 830.475 to 830.490) to 830.050 (Reporting lost boat), 830.175 (Regulations for specific areas), 830.210 (Operating improperly equipped boat prohibited) to 830.420 (Minimum equipment requirements for rental or charter boats) and 830.475 (Duties of operators and witnesses at accidents) to 830.490 (Confidential nature of report).
