Driver violation of worker transport vehicle safety code

(1) A person commits the offense of driver violation of worker transport vehicle safety code if the person, at any time, operates a vehicle described under ORS 820.010 (Vehicles subject to safety regulation) or 820.020 (Vehicles other than worker transport vehicles that are subject to safety regulation) in a manner that violates any provision of the safety code established under ORS 820.030 (Safety code) or any amendment thereto.

(2) The offense described in this section, driver violation of worker transport vehicle safety code, is a Class B traffic violation. [1983 c.338 §744; 1985 c.393 §51]
