Enforcement of snowmobile and all-terrain vehicles violations by persons other than police officers

Game wardens and all other state law enforcement officers within their respective jurisdictions shall enforce the provisions relating to snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles under ORS 821.190 (Unlawful operation of snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle on highway or railroad), 821.210 (Operating improperly equipped snowmobile), 821.220 (Operating improperly equipped all-terrain vehicle) and 821.240 (Operating snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle while carrying firearm or bow) to 821.290 (Dangerous operation of snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle). The authority granted by this section to enforce laws relating to snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles is in addition to any authority of police officers to enforce such laws.
