“Title.” “Title” means an ownership interest in a vehicle that is evidenced by a record of the Department of Transportation or of some other jurisdiction. The record may be in the form of a certificate of title or it may be in another form, including but not necessarily limited to electronic or machine-readable form. Oregon issues titles under ORS 803.045 (Issuance of title). Titles for snowmobiles are issued as provided under ORS 821.060 (Issuance).
