Local government regulation of cell phones in motor vehicles

A city, county or other local government may not enact or enforce any charter provision, ordinance, resolution or other provision regulating the use of cellular telephones in motor vehicles. [2001 c.133 §1]

Note: 801.038 (Local government regulation of cell phones in motor vehicles) was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of the Oregon Vehicle Code or any chapter or series therein by legislative action.
