Liability of Secretary of State

Except as provided in ORS 30.260 (Definitions for ORS 30.260 to 30.300) to 30.300 (ORS 30.260 to 30.300 exclusive), the Secretary of State and the secretary’s officers and employees shall not be liable to debtors, secured parties or any other person in administering this chapter or ORS 80.100 (Definitions for ORS 80.100 to 80.130) to 80.130 (Place to register as buyer of farm product, commission merchant or selling agent).
