Applicability of separate account investment limitations

The limitations provided in ORS 733.654 (Limitation on amount of separate account investments) and 733.656 (Limitation on securities owned or controlled by separate account investments) do not apply to the investment of separate account funds in the securities of an investment company registered under the federal Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, if the investments of the investment company comply in substance with ORS 733.654 (Limitation on amount of separate account investments) and 733.656 (Limitation on securities owned or controlled by separate account investments).
