Request by directors or stockholders for examination

When requested in writing by the board of directors of a banking institution or stockholders owning a majority of the capital stock of an institution or an Oregon stock savings bank, the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services may make or cause to be made an examination into the affairs and conditions of the banking institution or Oregon stock savings bank. The banking institution or Oregon stock savings bank shall pay the actual costs of the examination as provided in ORS 706.544 (Costs for special examination or other actions taken).
