Criminal penalties for investigators

(1) A person commits a Class A misdemeanor if the person knowingly falsifies the fingerprints, photographs or other data pertinent to an application for a license or identification card under the provisions of ORS 703.425 (Application requirements), 703.430 (Issuance of license) or 703.435 (Identification card).

(2) A person commits a Class B misdemeanor if the person knowingly practices as an investigator without a license as required by ORS 703.405 (License requirement).

(3) An investigator who fails to carry the identification card as required by ORS 703.435 (Identification card) commits a Class A violation. [1997 c.870 §21; 2001 c.838 §16]
