Uniformity of law

In applying and construing ORS 702.005 (Definitions) to 702.065 (Uniformity of law), 702.991 (Criminal penalties) and 702.994 (Civil penalties), the courts, a prosecuting attorney as defined in ORS 646.605 (Definitions for ORS 336.184 and 646.605 to 646.652) and the Department of Education shall give consideration to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that have enacted the Uniform Athlete Agents Act.
