ORS 702.027
Restrictions on athlete agents
(1)
Initiate contact with a student athlete or, if the athlete is a minor, a parent or guardian of the athlete unless registered under ORS 702.005 (Definitions) to 702.065 (Uniformity of law), 702.991 (Criminal penalties) and 702.994 (Civil penalties);(2)
Refuse or fail to retain or permit inspection of the records required to be retained by ORS 702.059 (Retention of records);(3)
Fail to register when required by ORS 702.012 (Registration requirement);(4)
Provide materially false or misleading information in an application for registration or renewal of registration;(5)
Predate or postdate a written agency contract;(6)
Fail to notify a student athlete or, if the athlete is a minor, a parent or guardian of the athlete before the student athlete, parent or guardian enters into an agency contract for a particular sport that entering into the agency contract may make the student athlete ineligible to participate as a student athlete in that sport; or(7)
Represent a student athlete who is enrolled in a post-secondary institution of education, if the athlete agent represented a post-secondary institution of education at any time in the preceding four years. [1999 c.1079 §6; 2005 c.525 §8; 2013 c.54 §5; 2017 c.113 §9; 2021 c.422 §2]
