Principle of good faith


Without limiting the other provisions of ORS 650.200 (Definitions for ORS 650.200 to 650.250) to 650.250 (Injunctive relief or damages), the principle of good faith shall govern the relationship and dealings of the parties with each other. [1987 c.917 §8]

Notes of Decisions

Franchisor did not breach duty of good faith when franchisor continued to operate other franchised stations within service area surrounding newly acquired franchisees’ stations. Pride v. Exxon Corp., 911 F2d 251 (9th Cir. 1990)
