Amendment to application for authority
(1) A foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state shall deliver an amendment to the application for authority to transact business in this state to the Office of the Secretary of State for filing if it changes:
(a) Its corporate name as shown on the records of the office;
(b) The period of its duration; or
(c) Its designation under ORS 65.707 (Application for authority to transact business) as a public benefit, mutual benefit or religious corporation.
(2) The amendment to the application for authority to transact business in this state shall set forth the corporate name shown on the records of the office and the new corporate name, the new period of duration or the new designation as public benefit, mutual benefit or religious corporation. The corporate name as changed must satisfy the requirements of ORS 65.717 (Corporate name of foreign corporation). [1989 c.1010 §150; 1993 c.190 §7]
