School district culinary arts classes

(1) Notwithstanding ORS 471.410 (Providing liquor to person under 21 or to intoxicated person), an employee of a school district may make alcoholic beverages available to a student in a culinary arts class for use in the culinary arts class if the alcoholic beverages are provided in compliance with a policy adopted under ORS 336.441 (Use of alcoholic beverages in culinary arts classes).

(2) Notwithstanding ORS 471.430 (Purchase or possession of alcoholic beverages by person under 21), a student of a culinary arts class may have personal possession of alcoholic beverages for use in the culinary arts class if the student has possession of the alcoholic beverages in compliance with a policy adopted under ORS 336.441 (Use of alcoholic beverages in culinary arts classes).
