Resolution to exercise powers

The exercise by a state public body of the powers granted in ORS 456.305 (Definitions for ORS 456.305 to 456.325) to 456.325 (Resolution to exercise powers) may be authorized by resolution of the governing body of such state public body adopted by a majority of the members of its governing body present at a meeting of the governing body. This resolution may be adopted at the meeting at which it is introduced. Such a resolution shall take effect immediately and need not be laid over or published or posted.
