Authority may maintain garbage collection system and engage in insect control activities

In addition to other powers granted to it under ORS 450.600 (Joint authorities) to 450.989 (Apportionment of cost among serviced property owners), the authority may:

(1) Maintain and operate disposal sites and garbage collection systems in compliance with the requirements of ORS 459.005 (Definitions for ORS 459.005 to 459.437, 459.705 to 459.790 and 459A.005 to 459A.665) to 459.437 (Requirements for sale or promotion of mercuric oxide batteries), 459.992 (Criminal penalties) (1) and (2) and 466.995 (Criminal penalties) (1).
