Civil penalty for violation of ORS 441.098

If the Health Licensing Office or the appropriate health professional regulatory board takes disciplinary action under ORS 441.099 (Health Licensing Office to ensure compliance with ORS 441.098), the office or board may also impose a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 on a health practitioner for violating ORS 441.098 (Health practitioner referral of patient to treatment or diagnostic testing facility) (2), (3), (4) or (5). [2013 c.552 §3]

Note: 441.991 (Civil penalty for violation of ORS 441.098) was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 441 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
