Plan for incorporating family support consultants
  • development of protocol and training

(1) The Department of Human Services shall develop a plan for incorporating family support consultants into a percentage of cases managed within the department. The consultants shall work directly with families to develop support in a manner consistent with the family support policies under ORS 417.340 (Definitions for ORS 417.340 to 417.349) to 417.348 (Eligibility requirements) and 417.349 (Department of Human Services to provide family support services).

(2) The department shall consult with the Family Support Advisory Council established under ORS 417.346 (Duties of Director of Human Services), to develop protocol and training consistent with the family support policies under ORS 417.340 (Definitions for ORS 417.340 to 417.349) to 417.348 (Eligibility requirements) and 417.349 (Department of Human Services to provide family support services).
