Award of noneconomic damages in inmate action

Noneconomic damages, as defined in ORS 31.710 (Noneconomic damages), may not be awarded to an inmate in an action against a public body unless the inmate has established that the inmate suffered economic damages, as defined in ORS 31.710 (Noneconomic damages). [1999 c.657 §6]
