2017 ORS 276.013¹
Acquisition of office buildings

When the Director of the Oregon Department of Administrative Services determines that an office building as defined in ORS 276.110 (Definitions for ORS 276.013, 276.015 and 276.110 to 276.137) would be the best means to further the public policy of this state as declared in ORS 276.426 (Location of leased office quarters of state agencies to be centralized), or otherwise to accomplish the purposes of ORS 276.005 (Capital Projects Fund) (1), the Oregon Department of Administrative Services may request the State Treasurer and investing agency, as defined in ORS 276.110 (Definitions for ORS 276.013, 276.015 and 276.110 to 276.137), to loan funds to acquire the buildings necessary to carry out that policy. [1969 c.706 §38; 1973 c.129 §1; 1977 c.598 §4]

Note: 276.013 (Acquisition of office buildings), 276.015 (Investment of certain funds) and 276.021 (State building police officers) were made a part of ORS chapter 276 by legislative action but were not added to any smaller series therein.
