Exempt territory

The amendments to ORS 222.210 (Authority to consolidate adjoining and nonadjoining cities or territories), 222.230 (Form and contents of petition), 222.240 (Approval of petition) and 222.270 (Canvass of votes) made by chapter 702, Oregon Laws 1985, do not apply in territory subject to the jurisdiction of a local government boundary commission. [1985 c.702 §27]

Note: 222.179 (Exempt territory) was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 222 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
