Exceptions to application of ORS 97.170 to 97.200

The body of any person who died of smallpox, diphtheria, scarlet fever or other disease that the Department of Human Services, by rule, may prescribe, shall not be subject to the provisions of ORS 97.170 (Disposition of body of indigent or child in custody of Department of Human Services) to 97.200 (Disposition of remains after educational use thereof). [Amended by 1977 c.582 §2]
