Criminal penalties
(1) Except as provided in this section, violation of any provision of ORS 717.200 (Definitions) to 717.320 (Short title), 717.900 (Civil penalties) and 717.905 (Criminal penalties) is a Class A misdemeanor.
(2) Any person that makes a material, false statement in any document filed or required to be filed under ORS 717.200 (Definitions) to 717.320 (Short title), 717.900 (Civil penalties) and 717.905 (Criminal penalties) with the intent to deceive the recipient of the document is guilty of a Class C felony.
(3) Any person that engages in the business of money transmission without a license is guilty of a Class C felony. [1999 c.571 §24]
