Rulemaking under ORS 583.600 to 583.630

In accordance with ORS chapter 183, the State Department of Agriculture may adopt any rules necessary to carry out the provisions of ORS 583.600 (Prohibits sale at less than cost) to 583.630 (Rulemaking under ORS 583.600 to 583.630) and 583.993 (Penalties), except that the rules first adopted under ORS 583.600 (Prohibits sale at less than cost) to 583.630 (Rulemaking under ORS 583.600 to 583.630) and 583.993 (Penalties) shall be established with the advice of the segments of the milk industry affected by the provisions of ORS 583.600 (Prohibits sale at less than cost) to 583.630 (Rulemaking under ORS 583.600 to 583.630) and 583.993 (Penalties). The provisions of ORS 583.425 (Administrative proceedings and orders) apply to the procedures the department uses to establish a method for determination of individual costs under ORS 583.600 (Prohibits sale at less than cost) (1).
