Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator

There is established a Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator within the Department of Human Services. The coordinator shall:
(1) Facilitate the development of a statewide strategic plan to address youth suicide;
(2) Improve outreach to special populations of youth that are at risk for suicide; and
(3) Provide technical assistance to state and local partners and coordinate interagency efforts to establish prevention and intervention strategies. [Formerly 418.756]
