2007 ORS 293.990¹

(1) Any person, official or state agent violating ORS 293.265 (Moneys collected to be turned over to State Treasurer) to 293.280 (Application of ORS 293.265 to 293.275) or failing to comply with any of the requirements of those sections within the time provided shall be liable on the official bond of the person, officer or state agent and shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding one year, or both.

(2) In addition to civil liability, violation of ORS 293.620 (Monthly account of and payment by custodians of state property) is a Class A violation. Upon conviction, the defendant is liable for all costs of the prosecution in accordance with ORS 151.505 (Authority of court to order repayment of costs related to provision of appointed counsel) or 161.665 (Costs).
