Omission from voters’ pamphlet of ballot titles, explanatory statements and arguments for certain measures

Notwithstanding ORS 251.315 (Information required to be included in voters' pamphlet), 251.345 (Explanatory statement) or 251.355 (Filing arguments for or against measure), in the case of a measure submitted under ORS 254.095 (City elections officers' statements of offices, candidates and measures) (3), 254.103 (Filing of measures referred by county governing body) (2) or 255.085 (Notice of district election on issuance of bonds or on other measure) (2) and at the discretion of the county clerk, the ballot title, explanatory statement and all arguments supporting or opposing the measure may be omitted from a county voters’ pamphlet. Note: 251.358 (Omission from voters' pamphlet of ballot titles, explanatory statements and arguments for certain measures) was added to and made a part of 251.305 (County voters' pamphlet) to 251.435 (Statements and arguments inadmissible in action to enjoin publication of pamphlet) by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein.
