Audio records
Where the trial proceedings are recorded on audio records, the court to which the appeal is made may waive transcription and provide for hearing of the appeal on the basis of the audio records alone under such rules as the court may prescribe. The reporter shall certify and file the audio recordings with the trial court administrator immediately upon receiving notice that the appeal is to be heard on the basis of the recordings alone.
