Siting without taking goal exception
In accordance with the provisions of ORS 30.947 (Effect of siting of destination resorts or other nonfarm or nonforest uses), 197.435 (Definitions for ORS 197.435 to 197.467) to 197.467 (Conservation easement to protect resource site), 215.213 (Uses permitted in exclusive farm use zones in counties that adopted marginal lands system prior to 1993), 215.283 (Uses permitted in exclusive farm use zones in nonmarginal lands counties) and 215.284 (Dwelling not in conjunction with farm use), a comprehensive plan may provide for the siting of a destination resort on rural lands without taking an exception to statewide planning goals relating to agricultural lands, forestlands, public facilities and services or urbanization.
