Prohibition on disclosure of actual address or telephone number by public body

(1) Except as provided in ORS 192.820 (Definitions for ORS 192.820 to 192.868) to 192.868 (Grants, donations and gifts), a public body that receives a request from a program participant under ORS 192.836 (Use of substitute address) may not disclose the actual address or telephone number of the program participant.

(2) Each public body that receives a request from a program participant under ORS 192.836 (Use of substitute address) shall adopt a procedure to prevent unnecessary disclosure of actual addresses or telephone numbers of program participants to employees of that public body or other persons in that public body.
