The filing of a notice of appeal does not automatically stay the judgment that is the subject of the appeal. A party may seek to stay a judgment in the manner provided by ORS 19.335 (Stay by filing of supersedeas undertaking), 19.340 (Waiver of supersedeas undertaking) or 19.350 (Discretionary stay by court), or as provided by other law.
