Effect of minimum requirements under authority other than ORS 181A.410
Compliance with minimum standards or minimum training recommended pursuant to ORS 181A.410 (Minimum standards and training for certification) for public safety personnel, except youth correction officers, does not exempt any individual from any minimum requirement for selection or promotion as a police officer or certified reserve officer under ORS 181A.055 (Qualifications for appointment and reappointment of state police) or under any civil service law, charter or ordinance for a county or city.
