Claim by person other than debtor for all or part of garnished property

Any person other than a debtor who has an interest in any garnished property or in any part of the garnished property may assert that interest by filing with the court administrator for the court specified in the writ of garnishment an application in substantially the form set forth in ORS 18.850 (Challenge to garnishment form) for a challenge to a garnishment. The provisions of ORS 18.700 (Manner of making challenge to garnishment) to 18.715 (Sanctions) apply to an application made under this section. [2001 c.249 §37; 2003 c.576 §64]
