A city or county may enact ordinances which are more strict than ORS 165.555 (Unlawful telephone solicitation of contributions for charitable purposes) to 165.565 (Optional local ordinances). ORS 165.555 (Unlawful telephone solicitation of contributions for charitable purposes) to 165.565 (Optional local ordinances) do not affect any ordinances which are more strict than ORS 165.555 (Unlawful telephone solicitation of contributions for charitable purposes) to 165.565 (Optional local ordinances) and are in effect on October 5, 1973.
