2017 ORS 164.381¹

As used in ORS 137.131 (Community service as condition of probation for offense involving graffiti), 164.381 (Definitions) to 164.386 (Unlawfully possessing a graffiti implement) and 419C.461 (Disposition for graffiti related offenses):

(1) “Graffiti” means any inscriptions, words, figures or designs that are marked, etched, scratched, drawn, painted, pasted or otherwise affixed to the surface of property.

(2) “Graffiti implement” means paint, ink, chalk, dye or other substance or any instrument or article designed or adapted for spraying, marking, etching, scratching or carving surfaces. [1995 c.615 §1]

Note: 164.381 (Definitions) to 164.388 (Preemption) were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 164 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
