Except as provided in ORS 144.005 (State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision) (2)(b), the appointment of a member of the State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision is subject to confirmation by the Senate as provided in ORS 171.562 (Procedures for confirmation) and 171.565 (Vote required for confirmation).
