Change of adopted child’s name

If in a petition for the adoption of a child a change of the child’s name is requested, the court, upon entering a judgment granting the adoption, may also provide in the judgment for the change of name without the notices required by ORS 33.420 (Notice of application and judgment). [Amended by 1997 c.872 §24; 2003 c.576 §154]
