Definitions for ORS 625.215


As used in ORS 625.215 (Prohibited bakery products):

(1)

“Bread” means white bread, milk bread, raisin bread, Vienna, French and Italian breads and other breads as identified in definitions and standards adopted by the State Department of Agriculture under ORS 625.160 (Powers of department).

(2)

“Buns” means white buns, hamburger buns, hot dog buns, raisin buns, sweet buns made with fillings or coatings and other buns as identified in definitions and standards adopted by the department under ORS 625.160 (Powers of department). “Buns” does not include foods made with cake flour or other specialty flours.

(3)

“Enriched” means the addition of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients to make enriched bread, enriched rolls or enriched buns as identified in definitions and standards adopted by the department under ORS 625.160 (Powers of department).

(4)

“Rolls” means white rolls, Parker House and other soft rolls, Vienna, Kaiser and other hard rolls, raisin rolls, sweet rolls made with fillings or coatings, doughnuts and other rolls as identified in definitions and standards adopted by the department under ORS 625.160 (Powers of department). “Rolls” does not include foods made with cake flour or other specialty flours.
