Highway classification

The Oregon Transportation Commission shall periodically review, not less often than every six years, the classification of state highways, including the designation of highway segments as expressways, as a part of its comprehensive, long-range transportation plan developed pursuant to ORS 184.618 (Duties of commission in preparing and implementing state transportation policy) to ensure that the classifications for the highways and designations of expressways are appropriate to their uses.
