Surrender of warrants upon payment

Subject to ORS 294.015 (Payment on lost, stolen or destroyed warrants upon affidavit of owner, payee or representative), no warrant issued by a subdivision shall be paid unless such warrant is surrendered and delivered to the officer charged with the payment thereof, contemporaneously with payment or prior thereto.
