2007 ORS § 137.040¹

Bringing defendant in custody to pronouncement of judgment

If the defendant is in custody, the court shall:

(1) Direct the officer in whose custody the defendant is to bring the defendant before the court for judgment and the officer shall do so accordingly; or

(2) Ensure that arrangements for the defendant to appear for judgment by simultaneous electronic transmission as described in ORS 131.045 (Appearances by simultaneous electronic transmission) have been made. [Amended by 2005 c.566 §10]
