Nonliability of spouse’s property for other spouse’s obligations


The property and pecuniary rights of every spouse in a marriage acquired at the time of the marriage or afterwards, including real or personal property acquired by the spouse’s own labor during the marriage, shall not be subject to the debts or contracts of the other spouse.
